The Museu del Cinema in Girona displays the Tomàs Mallol collection of pre-cinema and cinema objects, which the city bought in 1994 and opened as a museum in 1998. Its permanent exhibition traces about 400 years of moving images, from shadow play and magic lanterns to early cameras and projectors, alongside temporary exhibitions.

The Museum of Jewish History occupies a medieval house in the heart of the Call, Girona's former Jewish quarter, on the site of the community's last synagogue. Opened in 2000, it traces the life of Catalonia's Jewish communities from the 9th century to the expulsion of 1492, with Hebrew gravestones and a recovered ritual bath.

The Girona Museum of Art occupies the former Bishop's Palace beside Girona Cathedral and was founded in 1976. It shows art from the Girona region in chronological order, from Romanesque and Gothic altarpieces to Modernisme and Noucentisme, with rooms for ceramics, glass and liturgical objects, including the portable altar of Sant Pere de Rodes.

Sant Pere de Galligants is a former Benedictine monastery beside the Galligants stream in Girona, founded in the late 10th century, with a Romanesque church, octagonal bell tower and cloister from the 12th century. Since 1857 it has housed an archaeology collection, now the Girona branch of the Archaeology Museum of Catalonia, with finds from prehistory to the Middle Ages.
