The Córdoba Synagogue is a small Mudéjar synagogue on Calle de los Judíos in the Jewish Quarter, dated to 1314–1315 by its foundation inscription. A courtyard and vestibule lead to a square prayer hall of about 40 m², covered in carved plasterwork with Hebrew verses from the Psalms and a women's gallery above. It served as a synagogue until 1492.

edificio religioso · Córdoba The Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba is the city's cathedral, built as the Great Mosque from 785 under Abd al-Rahman I and enlarged until the late 10th century. It became a church in 1236, and in the 16th century a Renaissance nave was set into the middle of the prayer hall. Visitors see the rows of double arches, the mihrab of al-Hakam II and the Patio de los Naranjos.
