
Église San Giorgio
église · PortofinoThe Church of San Giorgio stands on a headland above Portofino, reached by a path from the harbour square. First recorded in 1154 and rebuilt in 1691 and 1760, it was destroyed by a bomb in the Second World War and rebuilt in 1950 on its 18th-century plan. It keeps relics of Saint George, the village's patron saint.
