Spoleto Cathedral, dedicated to the Assumption, was built from the late 12th century after Frederick Barbarossa's troops destroyed the earlier church. Its Romanesque facade has eight rose windows and a mosaic of Christ signed by Solsternus in 1207, behind a porch added in the 15th century. Filippo Lippi began the apse frescoes of the Life of the Virgin and is buried here.

The Ponte delle Torri is an aqueduct bridge about 230 metres long across the Tessino gorge in Spoleto, linking the hill of the Rocca Albornoziana with the slopes of Monteluco. Its nine arches rise about 80 metres; the present structure dates from the late 14th century, probably on Roman remains. A footpath runs along the top.
