
Eiserner Steg
brug · FrankfurtEiserner Steg is a steel footbridge across the River Main in Frankfurt, linking the city centre with the Sachsenhausen district. A wrought-iron crossing from 1868 was replaced by the current riveted cantilever bridge in 1911-1912. Blown up at the end of the Second World War, it was rebuilt in 1946 and fully renovated in 1993.
