Steininger Loisium Wine World is a wine visitor centre in Langenlois, in the Kamptal wine region of Lower Austria. Above ground stands an aluminium-clad cube designed by the New York architect Steven Holl; below it an audio-guided route of about 1.5 kilometres leads through an old cellar labyrinth and explains winemaking, ending in a wine shop with a tasting.

Dürnstein Castle is the ruin of a 12th-century rock castle built by the Kuenring family on a crag above Dürnstein and the Danube, linked to the town by a defensive wall. From December 1192 to March 1193 King Richard I of England, the Lionheart, was held captive here. Swedish troops took it in 1645, and from 1662 it was no longer permanently inhabited.

religiøs bygning · Dürnstein Dürnstein Abbey is a former house of Augustinian canons on the Danube bank in Dürnstein, founded in 1410 and dissolved in 1788. Provost Hieronymus Übelbacher had it remodelled in Baroque style; its blue and white church tower of 1733 is a landmark of the Wachau. Since 2019 the abbey rooms have held an exhibition, and the church and cloister can be visited.
