Thorpe Park is a theme park run by Merlin Entertainments on flooded former gravel pits between Chertsey and Staines-upon-Thames in Surrey. It opened in 1979 as a leisure park and became a theme park in the 1980s. Its roller coasters include Stealth, Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, The Swarm and Hyperia, which opened in 2024.

Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey, occupies part of the Brooklands motor circuit, which opened in 1907 as the world's first purpose-built banked racing track and later became a centre of aircraft manufacturing. Opened in 1991, it shows racing cars, motorcycles and aircraft including Concorde, the 1907 Clubhouse and the London Bus Museum.

Botanischer Garten · Wisley RHS Garden Wisley is a 97-hectare garden of the Royal Horticultural Society at Wisley, near Woking in Surrey, given to the society by Sir Thomas Hanbury in 1903. Around the half-timbered Laboratory and the Jellicoe Canal lie a rock garden, a fruit field, an arboretum, plant trials and the Glasshouse of 2007, with desert, tropical and temperate zones.

Windsor Great Park is a royal park of about 2,020 hectares south of Windsor, on the border of Berkshire and Surrey, once the hunting ground of Windsor Castle and now managed by the Crown Estate. The tree-lined Long Walk runs about 4 km from the castle to the Copper Horse, a statue of George III, and the park also includes Virginia Water lake and a deer park.

Hampton Court Palace is a royal palace on the Thames in south-west London, begun in 1514 for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey and taken over by Henry VIII in 1529. William III added Baroque wings in the 1690s, so Tudor and Baroque buildings stand side by side. Its gardens include the Hampton Court Maze and the Great Vine, planted in 1768.

Windsor Castle is a royal residence above the River Thames in Windsor, founded in the 11th century after the Norman conquest and used by monarchs since Henry I. Visitors see the State Apartments, rebuilt for Charles II and George IV, and the 15th-century St George's Chapel, where several monarchs are buried.

LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is a Lego-themed park on the south-western edge of Windsor, opened on 17 March 1996 on the site of the former Windsor Safari Park and run by Merlin Entertainments. It has more than 55 rides and attractions aimed at younger children, and Miniland, where buildings and townscapes are rebuilt in Lego bricks.

Eton College is a boys' boarding school in Eton, across the Thames from Windsor, founded in 1440 by Henry VI. Its red-brick courts and late Gothic chapel lie at the north end of Eton High Street. The school itself is private, but the Museum of Eton Life, the Museum of Antiquities and the Natural History Museum open to visitors at set times.

Chessington World of Adventures is a theme park, zoo and hotel resort in Chessington, south-west London. It opened as Chessington Zoo in 1931 and added the theme park in 1987; Merlin Entertainments runs it today. More than 40 rides are grouped in themed areas, and the zoo keeps animals such as gorillas, sea lions and penguins.
