Ponte di Tiberio
Brücke · RiminiThe Ponte di Tiberio is a Roman bridge of five stone arches over the Marecchia channel in Rimini, begun under Augustus and completed under Tiberius between 14 and 21 AD. It carried the Via Aemilia and the Via Popilia into the town, survived a German attempt to blow it up in 1944, and has been closed to motor traffic since 2020.
