National Mall
Die National Mall ist eine Parkanlage im Zentrum von Washington, angelegt nach Pierre L'Enfants Stadtplan von 1791 und vom National Park Service verwaltet. Ihre Rasenflächen reichen vom Kapitol bis zum Washington Monument und im weiteren Sinne bis zum Lincoln Memorial, gesäumt von Smithsonian-Museen, Galerien und Gedenkstätten.
