musée · AgrigenteThe Pietro Griffo Regional Archaeological Museum stands on the San Nicola hill inside the Valley of the Temples at Agrigento. Opened in 1967 in a building by Franco Minissi that incorporates a former convent, its 17 rooms show finds from Akragas and central southern Sicily, including a telamon from the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Agrigento Ephebe.
