    Chillida Leku is the museum the sculptor Eduardo Chillida created in Hernani around the Zabalaga farmhouse, which he restored. About 40 of his steel and granite sculptures stand across 13 hectares of meadow and woodland, with further works inside the house. It opened in 2000, closed at the end of 2010 and reopened in 2019.

    Anoeta Stadium is the home ground of Real Sociedad, opened in 1993 in the Amara district of San Sebastián. Between 2017 and 2019 the running track was removed and the stands were moved closer to the pitch, raising the capacity to about 40,000. Until 2025 it carried the sponsor name Reale Arena. It also hosts concerts and rugby.

    La Concha is the crescent-shaped city beach of San Sebastián, lining the Bay of La Concha between the old town and the Miramar Palace, with Santa Clara Island in the middle of the bay. A promenade with a white iron railing runs along it. The tide changes the width of the sand considerably over the day.

    The Cathedral of the Good Shepherd is a Neo-Gothic church in San Sebastián's Ensanche, designed by the local architect Manuel Echave. Building began in 1888 and it was consecrated in 1897; the 75-metre bell tower by Ramón Cortázar followed in 1899. It became the cathedral of the new Diocese of San Sebastián in 1953.

    The Miramar Palace was the summer residence of the Spanish royal family in San Sebastián, built for Queen Maria Christina to a design by the English architect Selden Wornum and finished in 1893 under José Goicoa. The English-style brick house stands above La Concha Bay. The city has owned it since 1972; its gardens are open to the public and the palace hosts courses and events.

    The Teatro Victoria Eugenia is San Sebastián's main theatre, designed by Francisco Urcola in a Spanish Renaissance revival style and opened on 20 July 1912 beside the mouth of the Urumea. From 1953 it was the home of the San Sebastián International Film Festival. After a refurbishment from 2001 to 2007 it stages theatre, dance and concerts.

    The Basilica of Santa María del Coro is a Baroque parish church in San Sebastián's Old Town, built between 1743 and 1774 over an earlier Gothic church. Its portal between two towers is carved like an altarpiece around a figure of Saint Sebastian, and the high altar holds a small wooden image of the Virgen del Coro.

    The Monte Igueldo Funicular has climbed Mount Igueldo from the Ondarreta end of San Sebastián since 1912, when Queen Maria Cristina opened it. Its wooden cars cover about 320 metres to the summit, which has a lookout over La Concha Bay and an old amusement park.

    San Telmo Museoa is San Sebastián's museum of Basque society, housed since 1932 in a 16th-century Dominican convent at the foot of Mount Urgull, with a contemporary extension added in 2011. Its collections cover Basque history, art and ethnography, and the former church is lined with large canvases by Josep Maria Sert.

    The Peine del Viento is a group of three steel sculptures by Eduardo Chillida, each weighing about 10 tonnes, set into rocks at the western end of Ondarreta beach in San Sebastián. The granite terrace around them was designed by the architect Luis Peña Ganchegui. Completed in 1976, the site has vents in the paving through which breaking waves push air and spray.
