The Cathedral of La Laguna, dedicated to Our Lady of Los Remedios, is the seat of the Diocese of Tenerife in the historic centre of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. The parish church founded in 1515 became a cathedral in 1819 and was rebuilt in 1904–1915, keeping only its Neoclassical façade. Inside are Neo-Gothic vaults, a Baroque altarpiece of the Virgin and a marble pulpit.

Parque Marítimo César Manrique is a seawater lido on the coast of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, designed by the Lanzarote artist César Manrique and opened in 1995, three years after his death. Across 22,000 m², three saltwater pools with islands, waterfalls, volcanic rock, palms and Manrique's wind sculptures lie between the Auditorio de Tenerife and the Palmetum.

The Museo de Naturaleza y Arqueología (MUNA) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife fills the former Civil Hospital, a Neoclassical building. Its archaeology rooms cover the Guanches, the islands' pre-Hispanic people, with mummies like the Mummy of San Andrés, pottery and the Zanata Stone; the natural science rooms show Canary fauna, flora and fossils such as the giant lizard of Tenerife.

The Palmetum of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a 12-hectare botanical garden of palms on an artificial hill by the sea, built on a municipal landfill that closed in 1983. Planting began in 1995 and the garden opened in 2014. It holds around 600 palm species, many from islands, arranged by region among streams, waterfalls and the half-sunken Octagon shade house.

parc · San Cristóbal de La Laguna Anaga Rural Park covers about 140 km² of the Anaga massif in the north-east of Tenerife, a range of steep ridges and ravines rising to about 1,000 m. Protected since 1987 and a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 2015, it has laurel forest, rock stacks off the coast and some 26 small hamlets, linked by a network of footpaths.
