St. Severin is a Lutheran parish church in the Sylt village of Keitum, built in the Romanesque style and first recorded in 1240. Tree-ring tests dated its roof timbers to 1216, making it the oldest religious building in Schleswig-Holstein. Its squat 15th-century tower once doubled as a navigation mark for sailors and, later, a prison.

A Neolithic passage grave near Wenningstedt on Sylt, built around 3200-3000 BC and covered by an earth mound about 3.5 metres high. Twelve boulders and three capstones weighing around 20 tonnes each form the burial chamber, reached through a six-metre passage that visitors can still walk into.

A black-and-white striped lighthouse on the island of Sylt, built from 1853 to 1856 on the orders of the Danish king and still an active navigational light 40 metres tall. It has been fully automated since 1977 and is no longer open for public visits, though it remains a well-known landmark of the Kampen dunes.

A reddish line of sea cliffs on Sylt's west coast, between the villages of Wenningstedt and Kampen, rising about 30 metres above the beach. The cliff formed from glacial till deposited roughly 120,000 years ago, and its rust-coloured iron-rich clay has long served sailors as a landmark for the island.
