The Roman Baths are the remains of a bathing complex and temple that the Romans built around Bath's hot spring from about 60–70 AD, in the town they called Aquae Sulis. Visitors walk past the Sacred Spring, the Great Bath, the temple precinct and a museum of finds; the buildings at street level date from the 19th century.
