Ontdek Fuengirola

Bioparc Fuengirola is a zoo in the centre of Fuengirola that opened in 1978 and was rebuilt from 1999 around recreated tropical forest habitats, taking its current name in 2010. Its areas show animals of Madagascar, equatorial Africa, Southeast Asia and the Indo-Pacific, among them lemurs, gorillas, orangutans and Komodo dragons.

The Benalmádena Cable Car is a gondola lift opened in 2000 that climbs from Arroyo de la Miel to the summit of Monte Calamorro in the Sierra de Mijas, at over 700 m. At the top are marked footpaths and viewpoints over the Costa del Sol, and a bird-of-prey flight display run by the Fundación Valle de las Águilas.

Sea Life Benalmádena is an aquarium at the Puerto Marina in Benalmádena Costa, one of the Sea Life centres of Merlin Entertainments. Its route leads through themed zones including an underwater tunnel, a ray pool, a wetlands area and an otter enclosure, with scheduled feedings and talks during the day.

Crocodile Park is a reptile park in Torremolinos where Nile crocodiles, spectacled caimans and American alligators live in pools seen from walkways and viewpoints. A reptile house holds anacondas, pythons and tortoises, and a small museum displays Paco, a five-metre Nile crocodile that lived in the park until 2018.
