National Museum of American History
Het National Museum of American History is een Smithsonian-museum aan de National Mall, in 1964 geopend als Museum of History and Technology in een gebouw van McKim, Mead & White. De tentoonstellingen behandelen de sociale, politieke, culturele, wetenschappelijke en militaire geschiedenis van de Verenigde Staten. Tot de getoonde voorwerpen behoort de originele Star-Spangled Banner.
