El Grifo is a winery in the La Geria wine landscape of Lanzarote, dated to 1775 by an inscription on its original stone press, on land buried by the Timanfaya eruptions of 1730–1736. The old cellar is now a wine museum of historic presses and tools. Visits walk through century-old vineyards on volcanic ground and end with a tasting.

The Church of San Ginés is the main parish church of Arrecife, near the Charco de San Ginés lagoon. It grew from a hermitage built in 1574, was rebuilt in 1667 and enlarged in the 18th and 19th centuries. Its whitewashed walls are trimmed with dark volcanic stone, the three naves have a Mudéjar-style wooden ceiling, and the square bell tower dates from 1842.

Castillo de San José is an 18th-century fort on a rise above the port of Naos in Arrecife, built between 1776 and 1779 on the orders of Charles III. In the 1970s César Manrique converted it into the International Museum of Contemporary Art (MIAC), which shows Canarian and Spanish art from the mid-20th century on.

Lanzarote Aquarium is in Costa Teguise, on the east coast of Lanzarote. Its 33 tanks hold about a million litres of water, with Canary Islands fish such as moray eels, tropical species, three touch pools and a 500,000-litre central tank with sharks seen from an underwater tunnel. It also takes in injured sea turtles and other protected species.
