site touristique · El Prat de Llobregat The Estrella Damm brewery in El Prat de Llobregat, near Barcelona airport, is one of the Damm group's production plants. Scheduled guided tours explain how the beer is brewed, following the recipe August K. Damm used in 1876, and end with a tasting of Estrella and other beers of the group.

stade · Cornellà de Llobregat RCDE Stadium is the home ground of RCD Espanyol, on the boundary between Cornellà de Llobregat and El Prat de Llobregat. Designed by Mark Fenwick and Esteve Gasulla, it opened on 2 August 2009 with about 40,000 seats under a roof fitted with solar panels. The guided tour visits the players' tunnel, the stands and the Ricardo Zamora history room with the club's trophies.

Poble Espanyol is an open-air architectural museum on Montjuïc, built for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition. Its 117 full-scale buildings reproduce streets, squares and houses from regions across Spain, and now hold artisan workshops, restaurants and the Fran Daurel museum of contemporary art.

Camp Nou is the stadium of FC Barcelona in the Les Corts district, opened in 1957 and the largest football ground in Europe. Since 2023 it has been rebuilt and enlarged towards about 105,000 seats, and matches returned in November 2025 with part of the stands open. The club museum, opened in 1984, shows trophies and club history, and its tickets include a stadium viewpoint.

bâtiment historique · Barcelone The Barcelona Pavilion is a reconstruction of the German Pavilion that Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich designed for the 1929 International Exposition on Montjuïc. The original was demolished in 1930 and rebuilt in 1986; its thin flat roof, walls of marble, onyx and travertine, and shallow pools are shown with the Barcelona chairs designed for it.

Colònia Güell is a former textile company town founded in 1890 by Eusebi Güell in Santa Coloma de Cervelló, laid out with houses, a school and services by Gaudí's collaborators. Gaudí designed its church, but only the crypt was built, between 1908 and 1914; it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005 and is the centre of the visit, with a permanent exhibition.

The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya occupies the Palau Nacional on Montjuïc, a domed palace built for the 1929 International Exhibition. Its collection runs from Romanesque wall paintings taken from Pyrenean churches through Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque art to Catalan modernisme and noucentisme of the early 20th century.

The Joan Antoni Samaranch Olympic and Sport Museum opened in 2007 on Montjuïc, opposite the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, and took its present name in 2010. Run by the Barcelona Olympic Foundation, it covers the Olympic Games and the 1992 Barcelona Games, sport in different civilisations and disability sport, with interactive multimedia displays.

site touristique · Barcelone The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc is an illuminated fountain designed by Carles Buïgas for the 1929 International Exposition, at the head of Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina below the Palau Nacional. On set evenings it stages shows of water jets, coloured light and music, pumping about 2,600 litres of water a second through three concentric basins.

site touristique · Barcelone Plaça d'Espanya is a large circular square at the foot of Montjuïc, laid out for the 1929 International Exposition. Its centre holds a fountain designed by Josep Maria Jujol with sculptures by Miquel Blay, and two 47-metre Venetian Towers mark the avenue leading up to the Palau Nacional. The former Arenas bullring stands on its north side.

The Fundació Joan Miró is a museum of modern art on Montjuïc, created by Joan Miró and opened in 1975 in a white building with courtyards and roof terraces designed by his friend Josep Lluís Sert. It holds a large collection of Miró's paintings, sculptures, tapestries and drawings, and its Espai 13 shows work by young artists.

Montjuïc Castle is a military fortress on the summit of Montjuïc hill, above the port. A first fort was raised in 1640, and the present castle with its moat and bastions took shape between 1751 and 1799 under the engineer Juan Martín Cermeño. Now run by the city, it has exhibitions on its history and walls with views over Barcelona and the sea.

The Montjuïc Cable Car is a gondola lift that climbs Montjuïc from the upper station of the funicular to a terminal beside Montjuïc Castle. Opened in 1970 and rebuilt with closed cabins in 2007, the 752-metre line rises about 85 metres above its lower station and looks out over the port and the city.

site touristique · Barcelone The Port Vell Aerial Tramway is a cable car that crosses Barcelona's old harbour, linking the Torre de Sant Sebastià in Barceloneta with the Miramar station on Montjuïc by way of the Torre de Jaume I beside the World Trade Center. Built for the 1929 International Exposition and opened in 1931, it covers about 1.3 km in cabins for up to 24 people.

The Maritime Museum of Barcelona occupies the Drassanes Reials, the Gothic royal shipyards built between the late 13th and late 14th centuries to build galleys for the kings of Aragon. Under the long stone arches it shows ship models, navigation instruments, maps and boats, and it keeps the schooner Santa Eulàlia afloat in the port.

The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) stands on Plaça dels Àngels in El Raval, in a white building with a long glass front designed by the American architect Richard Meier and opened in 1995. Its galleries show the museum's collection of art from the mid-20th century onwards alongside changing temporary exhibitions.

The Columbus Monument is a 60-metre monument at the lower end of La Rambla, built for the 1888 Universal Exposition to honour Christopher Columbus's first voyage to the Americas. A bronze statue of Columbus by Rafael Atché stands on top of a Corinthian column, and a small lift inside the column carries visitors up to a viewing platform beneath the statue.

Palau Güell is a town mansion in El Raval designed by Antoni Gaudí for the industrialist Eusebi Güell and built between 1886 and 1890. Two parabolic arched gates with wrought-iron work open into rooms grouped around a tall central hall under a perforated dome, and the roof terrace carries chimneys clad in mosaic. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Gaudí's works.

La Boqueria, officially the Mercat de Sant Josep, is a large covered food market off La Rambla in the Ciutat Vella. A market is recorded on the site from 1217; the present hall was inaugurated in 1853 and given its metal roof in 1914. Its stalls sell fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, cheese and spices, and several counters serve food.

The Gran Teatre del Liceu is Barcelona's opera house on La Rambla, opened at this address in 1847. Destroyed by fire in 1861 and again in 1994, it was rebuilt both times and reopened in 1999. It stages opera, ballet and concerts and has its own symphony orchestra, choir and music conservatory.
