Bobbejaanland is a theme park in Lichtaart, in the municipality of Kasterlee, founded by the Flemish singer and entertainer Bobbejaan Schoepen. He drained a 30-hectare marsh and opened a 1,000-seat venue there in December 1961, which from 1975 grew into a theme park. Today it has roller coasters, water rides, a lake and a children's area.
