The Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo in Santiponce was founded in 1301 by Alonso Pérez de Guzmán as his family's burial place. Its twin churches hold an altarpiece by Juan Martínez Montañés, and its Cloister of the Dead is a work of Mudéjar art. Casiodoro de Reina, later translator of the first complete Spanish Bible, was a monk here.

The Church of San Jacinto is the church of a Dominican convent in Triana, rebuilt after the earlier church collapsed in 1730 and opened in 1775, probably to designs by Matías José de Figueroa. Its red and ochre brick front has a Baroque portal and a large oculus; inside are three naves and a dome over the crossing. It hosts the Luminiscence light and music show.
