
Temple of Apollo
historic site · SideThe Temple of Apollo stands by the sea at the tip of the ancient city of Side. Built around AD 150 under Emperor Antoninus Pius, it keeps five marble columns with part of the entablature, re-erected in 1984–1990 and repaired in 2017; Medusa heads decorate the frieze. The remains of the Temple of Athena lie beside it.
