Avoca Mill

Avoca Mill is a weaving mill on the River Avoca in the village of Avoca, County Wicklow, recorded since at least 1723 and the origin of the Avoca Handweavers company. Guided tours lead through the whitewashed mill buildings, where throws and scarves are woven on hand and power looms, and include a demonstration on an old flying-shuttle loom.
