
San Fruttuoso Abbey
religious building · CamogliSan Fruttuoso Abbey is a Benedictine abbey in a small bay on the Portofino promontory, reached only by boat or on foot. Most of its buildings date from the 10th to the 13th century; it holds the tombs of the Doria family, and the Torre Doria watchtower was added in 1562. The FAI has owned and restored it since 1983.
