Bergama Museum

Bergama Museum opened in 1936 in the town centre to display finds from the excavations at the Pergamon acropolis, the Asclepieion and the Red Basilica, along with pieces from nearby ancient sites such as Pitane and Myrina. Its ethnography section shows regional costume and the carpets and rugs woven in the Bergama area.
