The National Museum, founded in 1818 by Kaspar Maria von Sternberg, has its main Neo-Renaissance building of 1891 at the top of Wenceslas Square. Reopened in 2018 after restoration, it is joined by an underground passage to the New Building, and its exhibitions cover natural history, Czech history and the Pantheon of national figures.

The Invisible Exhibition is an interactive tour on the second floor of the New Town Hall on Charles Square, in Prague since 2011. Blind and partially sighted guides lead visitors through seven rooms in total darkness, where everyday tasks such as crossing a street or paying in a café are done by touch, hearing and smell.

The Mucha Museum opened in 1998 in the Baroque Kaunitz Palace on Panská street in Prague's New Town and is devoted to the Art Nouveau painter and designer Alfons Mucha. It shows nearly 100 original works from the collection of the tennis player Ivan Lendl, including posters, decorative panels and drawings.

The Pilsner Urquell Experience is an exhibition on the history and brewing of Pilsner Urquell, the pale lager first brewed in Plzeň in 1842. It fills three floors of a heritage-protected Art Nouveau bank building of 1902 at the lower end of Wenceslas Square, with audiovisual installations, an audio-guided tour, a tasting and a pub.

Choco-Story Prague is a chocolate museum opened in 2018 in the house U Bílého páva (At the White Peacock) on Celetná street, near the Týn Church. Seven rooms with historic objects, wax figures and an audio guide follow cocoa from ancient civilisations to modern Belgian chocolate making, and a window shows sweets being made.

Madame Tussauds Prague is a wax museum at Celetná 6, in the house U Bílého lva (At the White Lion) a few steps from Old Town Square. Its rooms show around forty wax figures of people from film, music, sport and culture, and one floor is given over to Czech history and medieval Prague.

Central Gallery is a private exhibition space on the corner of Old Town Square and Celetná street, in the historic house U Bílého jednorožce. It currently shows three separate exhibitions on Salvador Dalí, Alfons Mucha and Andy Warhol, whose names are painted on the façade; visitors can choose one, two or all three.

The World of Banksy is an unauthorised exhibition of reproductions of the street artist Banksy's works, set in the Church of St Michael the Archangel on Michalská street in Prague's Old Town. It shows more than 140 reproduced pieces and video animations; the church itself is Romanesque in origin, later rebuilt in Baroque style.
