National Museum

The National Museum, founded in 1818 by Kaspar Maria von Sternberg, has its main Neo-Renaissance building of 1891 at the top of Wenceslas Square. Reopened in 2018 after restoration, it is joined by an underground passage to the New Building, and its exhibitions cover natural history, Czech history and the Pantheon of national figures.
