Puy du Fou

Puy du Fou is a history theme park in Les Epesses in the Vendée, opened in 1989 beside the ruins of a Renaissance château where the night show Cinéscénie has been staged since 1978. Its large outdoor shows re-enact episodes from Roman games to the Vikings and the Middle Ages, between reconstructed villages, gardens and woodland.
