Explore Villafranca di Verona

Parco Giardino Sigurtà is a 60-hectare garden on moraine hills above the Mincio at Valeggio sul Mincio, south of Lake Garda. A walled estate since 1417, it was bought in 1941 by Giuseppe Carlo Sigurtà, who restored it using the right to draw water from the river, and opened to visitors in 1978. Paths lead past lawns, ponds, a rose avenue and a hedge maze.
