park · Valeggio sul Mincio Parco Giardino Sigurtà is a 60-hectare garden on moraine hills above the Mincio at Valeggio sul Mincio, south of Lake Garda. A walled estate since 1417, it was bought in 1941 by Giuseppe Carlo Sigurtà, who restored it using the right to draw water from the river, and opened to visitors in 1978. Paths lead past lawns, ponds, a rose avenue and a hedge maze.

The Basilica of San Zeno is a Romanesque church in Verona's San Zeno district, built over the tomb of the 4th-century bishop Saint Zeno. The present building dates mainly from the 12th century; its façade has a rose window and bronze door panels, and inside are the crypt with the saint's body, a cloister and Mantegna's San Zeno Altarpiece.

Castelvecchio Museum is Verona's civic art museum, housed in the brick castle that Cangrande II della Scala built beside the Adige in the 1350s. The architect Carlo Scarpa remodelled it between 1959 and 1973; the collection covers Romanesque sculpture, the equestrian statue of Cangrande I, Veronese painting, arms and old bells.
