tourist attraction · Malmö Lilla Torg is a cobbled square in Malmö's old town, created in the 1590s as a market place beside Stortorget. A brick market hall covered it from 1903 until 1968; today it is framed by half-timbered and brick houses, among them Hedmanska gården from the 1590s and the Faxe House from the 1760s, whose ground floors hold restaurants with outdoor tables.

tourist attraction · Malmö Turning Torso is a 190-metre residential tower in Malmö's Western Harbour, designed by Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2005. Its nine five-storey segments turn around a central core so that the top is rotated 90 degrees against the base; the building holds offices and 147 flats and is not open to visitors, so it is seen from the streets and the waterfront around it.
