Turning Torso
Turning Torso is a 190-metre residential tower in Malmö's Western Harbour, designed by Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2005. Its nine five-storey segments turn around a central core so that the top is rotated 90 degrees against the base; the building holds offices and 147 flats and is not open to visitors, so it is seen from the streets and the waterfront around it.
