tourist attraction · Prague Old Town Square is the historic central square of Prague's Old Town, framed by the Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn, the Baroque St. Nicholas Church, the Kinský Palace and the Old Town Hall with its astronomical clock. At its centre stands the Jan Hus Memorial, unveiled in 1915, and a Marian Column re-erected in 2020.

tourist attraction · Prague Wenceslas Square is a boulevard-like square about 750 metres long in Prague's New Town, laid out as a horse market under Charles IV in 1348. The National Museum closes its upper end, in front of Josef Václav Myslbek's equestrian statue of Saint Wenceslas. Large demonstrations were held here during the Velvet Revolution of 1989.

tourist attraction · Prague The Dancing House is an office building on the Rašín Embankment in Prague, designed by Vlado Milunić with Frank Gehry and completed in 1996. Its glass tower leaning against a solid one recalls a dancing couple, hence the nickname Ginger and Fred. Inside are a gallery, a hotel and a rooftop bar with a terrace over the Vltava.

The Žižkov Television Tower is a 216-metre transmitter tower built between 1985 and 1992 to a design by architect Václav Aulický and engineer Jiří Kozák. An observatory at 93 metres looks out over Prague, and David Černý's fibreglass babies crawl up its three steel-and-concrete columns.

Prague Zoo opened in 1931 in the Troja district in the north of the city, on slopes above the Vltava. Its grounds cover about 58 hectares with around 5,000 animals of some 670 species, and it has long bred Przewalski's horses, some of which it has returned to the Mongolian steppe.
