About Busan

Busan is South Korea's second city and largest port, spread between mountains and beaches on the south-east coast. Haeundae and Gwangalli are the city beaches, joined by the Gwangan Bridge, and BUSAN X the SKY looks over Haeundae from the 100th floor. Haedong Yonggungsa stands on the rocks by the sea to the north-east, and Beomeosa on the slopes of Geumjeongsan. Gamcheon Culture Village climbs a hillside of painted houses, Jagalchi is the fish market by the old port, and Taejongdae ends in cliffs at the southern tip. The UN Memorial Cemetery honours the soldiers of the Korean War.
