About Adelaide

Adelaide is South Australia's capital, a planned city ringed by parklands, with its museums along one boulevard and beaches a tram ride away. North Terrace holds the Art Gallery of South Australia, the South Australian Museum and, at its eastern end, the Adelaide Botanic Garden. The Adelaide Central Market is beside Victoria Square, and the Adelaide Oval is across the River Torrens, near St Peter's Cathedral. Adelaide Gaol stands in the western parklands, and the tram runs to Glenelg Beach. Two days cover the city; wine regions lie within an hour's drive. Trams and buses reach most sights.
