About Dubai

Dubai, the largest city of the United Arab Emirates, grew from a pearling port on Dubai Creek into a city some 60 km long on the Gulf coast. Around the creek, abras still cross between Bur Dubai and Deira, past the wind-tower houses of Al Fahidi, the Al Shindagha Museum and the gold and spice souks. Downtown has the Burj Khalifa with its At the Top decks, the Dubai Fountain and the Dubai Aquarium. Along the coast lie Kite Beach, Jumeirah and the Palm. Inland are Global Village, the Miracle Garden, the Safari Park and the theme parks of Dubai Parks and Resorts near Jebel Ali.
