About Da Nang

Da Nang is a coastal city in central Vietnam, with long beaches along the sea, the Hàn River through its centre and Hội An half an hour to the south. Mỹ Khê Beach runs along the eastern shore, and the Sơn Trà peninsula rises to the north with the Linh Ứng Pagoda. In the centre, the Museum of Cham Sculpture keeps stone carvings from the Cham kingdoms, the pink Da Nang Cathedral stands near Hàn Market, and the Dragon Bridge crosses the river. The Marble Mountains, with caves and pagodas, lie to the south, and Ba Na Hills is reached by cable car in the mountains to the west.
