About Gold Coast
The Gold Coast is a long strip of surf beaches south of Brisbane, with high-rise Surfers Paradise at its centre and theme parks inland. Surfers Paradise Beach lies below the Q1 tower and its SkyPoint Observation Deck. Sea World is on the Spit to the north, and Warner Bros. Movie World, Wet'n'Wild and Dreamworld sit beside the motorway towards Brisbane. Further south are Burleigh Head National Park, with a walk around the headland, and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Two or three days suit the beaches and a theme park or two. The G:link tram runs along the coast, and buses reach the parks.
