About Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls, Ontario, faces the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls across the Niagara River gorge. Queen Victoria Park runs along the rim opposite the falls. Journey Behind the Falls leads through tunnels to decks beside the Horseshoe Falls, and the White Water Walk follows a boardwalk next to the rapids downstream. The Whirlpool Aero Car crosses the gorge above the whirlpool, and the Niagara Parks Power Station shows a hydroelectric plant from 1905. The Skylon Tower looks over the falls, and Clifton Hill is a street of wax museums and arcades. Niagara-on-the-Lake, with Fort George and wineries, is about 20 km north.
