United States for visitors

The United States is a large country of very different regions; Vizgu starts with New York City, where many first visits begin. New York has the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA and the American Museum of Natural History, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in the harbour, and observation decks on the Empire State Building, Top of the Rock and One World Trade Center. Distances between American cities are long, so travel between regions is usually by air, or by train in the Northeast. The country uses the US dollar, prices are usually shown before sales tax, and tipping is expected in restaurants.
