Nærøyfjord

The Nærøyfjord is a 17-kilometre arm of the Sognefjord that branches off the Aurlandsfjord and ends at the village of Gudvangen, about 17 km by road from Flåm. Mountains rise to about 1,700 metres on both sides and the fjord narrows to 250 metres. Part of the West Norwegian Fjords UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005, it is seen from the boats between Flåm and Gudvangen.
