Burleigh Head National Park

Burleigh Head National Park covers the headland at Burleigh Heads, on the southern Gold Coast, formed from basalt lava of the Tweed Volcano more than 20 million years ago and a cultural site for the local Aboriginal people. Two walking tracks, the Oceanview and Rainforest circuits, lead through rainforest, pandanus and eucalypt forest to views along the coast.
