Montreal Botanical Garden

The Montreal Botanical Garden was founded in 1931 by mayor Camillien Houde and botanist Brother Marie-Victorin, opposite the Olympic Stadium. Its 75 hectares hold themed outdoor gardens and a complex of greenhouses, including a Chinese Garden built by artisans from Shanghai and a Japanese Garden from 1988. It is a National Historic Site of Canada.
