About Pigeon Forge
Pigeon Forge is a resort town in East Tennessee at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains, known for Dollywood and the attractions along the Parkway. Dollywood, co-owned by Dolly Parton, mixes roller coasters with Smoky Mountain crafts and a steam train. Along the Parkway stand the Titanic Museum Attraction, in a half-scale replica of the ship's bow, WonderWorks and dinner shows such as Dolly Parton's Stampede. The Old Mill, a gristmill of 1830, still grinds flour on the Little Pigeon River. Gatlinburg, to the south, is the gateway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with Anakeesta and Gatlinburg SkyPark above its centre.
