    Earth Lagoon Mývatn, known until its renaming as the Mývatn Nature Baths (Jarðböðin), is a geothermal lagoon at Jarðbaðshólar east of Lake Mývatn, opened in 2004. Water from the Bjarnarflag borehole emerges at 130 °C and is cooled to 36–40 °C; it is alkaline, rich in sulphur and not chlorinated. There is also a steam bath.
