The City Museum of Rovinj has occupied the Califfi Palace, a Baroque town house of the 1680s on the main square, since its founding in 1954. Its collections include paintings by old masters of the 16th to 18th centuries, modern art made by painters working in Rovinj, archaeology and objects from the Hütterott family; the rooms show changing exhibitions.

The Church of St. Euphemia stands on the hilltop of Rovinj's old town and was completed in 1736 as a three-aisled Baroque church on the site of older churches. Behind an altar lies the late-antique sarcophagus with the relics of St. Euphemia; the bell tower of 1654–1680, about 60 metres high and modelled on St Mark's in Venice, carries a statue of the saint as a weather vane.

Golden Cape Forest Park covers a peninsula at the southern edge of Rovinj, about 1.5 km from the old town. The industrialist Georg Hütterott began planting it in 1890 with pines, cypresses and cedars, some arranged in a six-pointed star; paths closed to motor traffic lead to coves and to a disused quarry at Cape Montauro, now used for climbing.
