Japanese Friendship Garden

The Japanese Friendship Garden is a walled garden of about six acres in Kelley Park, San Jose, dedicated in 1965. It is modelled on the Kōraku-en garden in Okayama, one of San Jose's sister cities. Paths lead around three ponds at different levels, linked by streams and stocked with koi first sent from Okayama in 1966.
