Cathedral Rock

Cathedral Rock is a red sandstone butte with spires on the south-west side of Sedona, in the Coconino National Forest. Oak Creek flows past its base at Red Rock Crossing, where it is often photographed reflected in the water. A short but steep trail of about 1.9 km round trip climbs over bare rock to a saddle between the spires.
