Chapel of the Holy Cross

The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a Roman Catholic chapel built in 1956 into a red sandstone butte south of central Sedona. Commissioned by the sculptor Marguerite Brunswig Staude, it is a concrete structure whose front is formed by a tall cross, with a glass wall looking over the red rocks. It belongs to the parish of St. John Vianney and holds weekly prayer services.
