Slide Rock State Park

Slide Rock State Park lies in Oak Creek Canyon about 11 km north of Sedona. Its centre is a natural water slide: a stretch of creek about 25 metres long running down a smooth, slippery channel in the red sandstone bed, used for swimming in summer. The park also preserves the Pendley homestead, an early 20th-century apple farm with orchards.
