Kenai Fjords National Park

Kenai Fjords National Park, established in 1980 next to Seward, covers about 2,700 km² of the Kenai Peninsula, where nearly 40 glaciers flow from the Harding Icefield. Boat tours from Seward's harbour sail the fjords to tidewater glaciers, sea lions and whales. Exit Glacier, 13 km from town, is the one part reached by road, with trails to the ice.
